Gentle Vision Shaping (GVS) also known as Orthokeratology, Over Night Sight, or Corneal Refractive Therapy is an exciting process by which patients can be fit with special contact lenses that are worn ONLY at night.  Gentle Vision Shaping lenses temporarily and safely change the shape of the cornea over night so that when they are removed in the morning patients enjoy clear vision without the use of glasses or contact lenses.  This is a fantastic, life changing method of vision correction especially for active patients.  Some ongoing research also suggests that children who correct their nearsightedness with Gentle Vision Shaping will actually become more near sighted at a slower rate than children who use standard glasses and contact lenses.
